Vata Imbalance

The word "Vata" is translated as flucuations in the energy of the nervous system. The nervous system can be easily related to by thinking of the electricity between the switch and the light. One flick of the switch and the room is illuminated. One sensation and the body recognizes and either responds or releases. A vata imbalance is either an excess, a block or a lack of normal nerve flow.

Symptoms indicating Vata Imbalance:
• Mild to severe dryness of the skin
• A feeling of light headedness
• Exhaustion, fatigue, ungroundedness
• Cold hands, cold feet, poor circulation, muscle spasms,
    tension and constriction
• Mild to severe twitching, e.g. eye
• Attention Deficit Disorder
• Confused thinking
• Feelings of fear and anxiety
• Insomnia

Ayurveda Treatment
First and most important fact is to understand how to care for the nervous system if it develops a Vata imbalance.
